Frequently Asked Questions
Pool & Outdoor Living Questions
Answers to the most common questions about custom pool construction, outdoor renovations, materials, and working with RL Poolscapes in Naples & Marco Island, Florida.
01
What type of pools does RL Poolscapes install?
We exclusively build custom gunite (concrete) swimming pools — the gold standard in pool construction. Gunite allows for completely custom shapes, depths, and features that fiberglass or vinyl simply can't match. Every pool we build is a one-of-a-kind design engineered specifically for your property and lifestyle.
02
Do you provide custom pool designs and structural engineering?
Yes — every project begins with a fully custom design process. We create detailed 3D renderings and work with licensed structural engineers to ensure your pool, spa, or outdoor structure is designed for Southwest Florida's soil conditions, wind loads, and building codes. You'll see and approve every detail before construction begins.
03
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
We don't operate a traditional showroom — instead, we bring the showroom to you. During your on-site consultation, we present material samples, finish options, 3D design renderings, and a portfolio of completed projects so you can see and feel the quality firsthand in the context of your own property.
04
Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?
Yes — RL Poolscapes is a fully licensed residential and commercial pool contractor serving Naples and Marco Island, Florida. From private estate pools and backyard transformations to HOA community amenities, resort pools, and commercial aquatic facilities, we deliver the same premium craftsmanship on every project.
05
What premium materials and finishes do you use?
We use only top-tier materials: gunite pool shells, PebbleTec and PebbleSheen interior finishes, natural Travertine coping and decking, and premium pavers from Techo-Bloc, Tremron, Belgard, and QDI. RL Poolscapes is Florida's first and only Techo-Bloc Certified Installer — ensuring expert installation backed by manufacturer warranties.
